The sweeping empty roads of Northern France beckon as you make your way South, the adventure has begun. After an hour on the motorway you head onto the A-roads. After lunch we mix a little motorway with the A-roads as you head for Troyes and the first overnight stop. The following morning, refreshed and rested you enjoy breakfast before heading further South, today sticking mainly to the motorway so you can cover more of those miles keeping you from the sunnier climate of the Cote d'Azur. The final part of today's ride is in the foothills of the French Alps and your introduction to Route Napoleon. The second night is spent in a lovely small village, where you can expect wonderful views only surpassed by the local gourmet cooking. The final days ride to your destination of the Cote d'Azur, is spent mostly riding the twisting sinuous roads of Route Napoleon, this route is a true gem. You arrive at the Cote d'Azur close to Nice and Cannes and the Mediterranean Sea. During your three nights in the area choose to join escorted ride-outs to Monaco and the Verdon Gorge if interested or just doing your own thing.
