What level of rider are the tours aimed at? / Will my bike be suitable for the tour?

Rider

  • The long weekend tour to the Champagne region, are suitable for all levels of rider.
  • Longer tours to the Cote d'Azur and the Grand Tour can be more challenging due to the distances covered and the type of roads that we ride.
  • Riding sensibly, you will soon build confidence and enjoy the fantastic roads and awesome scenery that is on offer.
  • Tour guides will be on hand to offer their advice and support where needed.
  • All tour guides are DSA Instructors and members of the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists and/or RoSPA Advanced Riders.

Motorcycle

  • The long weekend tour to the Champagne region, are suitable for all types of motorcycle or scooter with a minimum engine size of 300cc. The tour will be easier to ride using a motorcycle with a minimum engine size of 500cc.

  • Longer tours are suitable for motorcycle or scooters with a minimum engine size of 400cc.

  • Any style of motorcycle can be used, cruisers and tourer are better at the long stretches of motorway while the sports type bikes are more suited to the twisty roads.
